With a little help

Doing something by yourself is nearly always worse than what you could have done with a little help from somebody else.

I get it. You want to take all the credit, work alone, be the hero, produce something that says “by me and only me”. I get that. We all want that. We all secretly want to be the 1 person team and win all the awards. You don’t need anybody else.

But then when you just try and do something with a little help you’ll be reminded how powerful it is. You’re not in this alone any longer. You’re doing something as a team. You’re human. You enjoying being part of a team.

It’s OK to ask for a little help. You’re not by yourself. The only person making you work by yourself is your ego.
