HND'ed

Before LinkedIn, before YouTube, before any of it, I kept a blog.

HND’ed was a Blogspot I wrote all the way through my HND in Interactive Media at Wakefield College, from 2006 to 2008 — 79 posts of a much younger, much earnester me documenting coursework, design crushes and a lot of half-formed opinions.

Reading it back is a proper time capsule. The posts are sincere, occasionally mortifying, and absolutely riddled with the same daft references I still can’t help myself with — there’s one literally titled “It’s time to learn Pagemaker and chew bubblegum… and I’m all outta gum.” The best part of two decades later, and I’m still doing the exact same bit.
