Get Doing Things was my podcast before The Wednesday Audio — and, brace yourself, it was a self-improvement show. I know. I wouldn’t dream of it now, and listening back makes me physically cringe.
It started in 2017, not long after I’d packed in my first stab at podcasting, Ask a Designer Anything, as long-form conversations with creative thinkers, then morphed into a weekly interview show I live-streamed across YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. By the time I packed it in, in 2021, there were 200 episodes — and I’d somehow got some genuinely big guests on, like Chris Williamson and Jack Butcher.
